Black Excellence, Harold F. Pryor, Esq., past president of the TJ Reddick Bar Association, is the first Black state attorney in Broward & the first Black man to be elected state attorney in Florida. His mission is to make our community safe while working to ensure justice, equity & fairness for everyone affected by our criminal justice system. Pryor received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Florida, & his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. He has received several honors & recognitions throughout his professional career. His legal career includes experience as a prosecutor, a civil attorney in private practice, & as a corporate lawyer. As the county's chief law enforcement official, Pryor is commited to seeking justice, standing up for what is right, making sensible reforms to our criminal justice system, dedicated to serving the people of Broward County & making our community safer & better.
