It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of our founders and a fearless advocate for the citizens of Florida, Congressman Alcee L. Hastings.
We send our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and friends. We will honor his legacy of service and selflessness by continuing to serve and fearlessly advocate for the voiceless. We all owe a debt of gratitude to him that will never be repaid, but we shall endeavor to try. We humbly recognize that we are standing on the shoulders of trailblazing giants, and we pay homage to Congressman Hastings, who is now an ancestor.
